A recent leak from Genshin Impact is giving fans an early look at a brand-new boss coming with the Version 6.1 update, showing off all of the Frostnight Herra’s different attacks. The launch of Nod-Krai has brought a plethora of new content to the HoYoverse RPG, ranging from new locations to explore and new enemies to fight to multiple playable characters. Genshin Impact‘s newest region also brought the next update to the game’s Archon Quest, embroiling players in the Frostmoon Scions’ conflict with the Fatui. Now, Genshin Impact fans will get to challenge another new boss in the next patch.
Genshin Impact‘s newest region brought several different bosses for players to challenge throughout Nod-Krai. The release of Nod-Krai welcomed two new World Bosses to Genshin Impact, with players able to square off against the mechanical Knuckle Duckle and the majestic Radiant Moonfly. HoYoverse also introduced several new Local Legends with Nod-Krai’s launch, adding Raskolnikov, the Crab Tsar, and Sigurd as imposing new overworld enemies. The next update to the game is now gearing up to add yet another new boss.
Genshin Impact Leak Teases New Version 6.1 Boss
A new update shared by prominent Genshin Impact leaker Kuroo shows off the newest boss coming with Genshin Impact‘s Version 6.1. The video showcases the new Frostnight Herra enemy and reveals some of its attacks, with the pegasus-like boss using its massive wings both as melee weapons and to fire several projectile attacks at the player. The leak also gives an idea of where the Frostnight Herra will be located, positioned in a large open arena on the northern end of Hiisi Island. Genshin Impact‘s Version 6.1 is currently expected to launch on October 22.
The newest boss coming to Genshin Impact will likely be an important addition for players looking to pick up the game’s newest characters. Nefer has been confirmed to make her Genshin Impact debut during the Version 6.1 update, after appearing in Version 6.0’s story, and will likely use materials from the newest boss for her Talents. The Frostnight Herra’s release will also add a new Waypoint to the game near the boss, giving fans the chance to pick up a small reward of 5 Primogems for unlocking the Waypoint.
Genshin Impact‘s Version 6.1 will look to follow up on the success of Nod-Krai’s launch with some major updates coming to the game. The update will add the previously-mentioned Nefer to the playable roster as a new Dendro character, likely able to utilize the Lunar-Bloom Elemental Reaction. Genshin Impact is also expected to debut its long-rumored user-generated content game mode during the update, welcoming the launch of Miliastra Wonderland. Genshin Impact fans should have lots to be excited about as HoYoverse moves into the first post-launch update for Nod-Krai.
